Upcoming Fall Events

Hey guys! A quick heads up about a few upcoming WRCM sponsored + co-sponsored events.

1. Manhattan Magazine Presents Coffeehouse – Oct 15th in Jasper Lounge: Stop by Jasper Lounge and checkout some great acoustic performances, poetry, comedy, and whoever else might pop in! Signups are open to all on a first come first serve basis. There will be coffee, tea, and snacks!

2. Be Heard! Concert – Oct 28th in Smith Auditorium: Come to Smith on October 28th for the Be Heard! Concert. This whole semester, Be Heard! has been MC’s Clubs and Organizations’ push for voter registration and awareness. You might’ve seen us during Push Week registration in the student gov lounge. This concert is a last push and celebration for all of you who are registered and an information session on WHY you NEED to vote! There will be guest speakers, acoustic performances, food, and FREE TSHIRTS!!!… All in name of Democracy.

3. WRCM’s Annual Cover Band Concert! – Nov 12th in Smith Auditorium: Come see some of MC’s best and brightest local bands perform cover songs! Are you always frustrated you don’t know a bands’ original material? Fear not! Now you have a better chance than ever of hearing hardcore bands play Rihianna’s “Umbrella”! Oh and there will be food and giveaways!
